Purchasing a reproduction

For me, if the original is on stretched canvas, so is a reproduction. “Giclée” technology is used to print in high resolution on Epson’s specially-coated archival artist’s canvas with a no-fade life well over a century.
Unlike home-office inkjets whose dye-based inks fade in under ten years, Epson’s “Giclée” printers use pigment inks that don't change over the decades.
You can order beautiful reproductions for your wall from almost of my canvases in its original size or a bit smaller. No orders for prints bigger than original.
• To prevent my reproduction being mistaken for an original, I print the data right on the canvas so it shows on the back (left) when you mount the canvas before framing. I keep very few in stock mounted for framing. See In-Stock Closeouts below. New orders will come rolled but with margin and data same as above.
• With “Giclée” there is no limit to the number of perfect prints. So I see no point in offering numbered, hand-signed “limited editions” to create the illusion of value.
• I do not create “premium” prints by adding textures and signatures in real paint. My paintings – so far— don’t have enough impasto to justify that. Maybe someday...

Reproductions on Canvas  pricing

My beautiful, durable, ready-to-frame reproductions are true-to-the-original, pigment-inkjet (“Giclée”) prints fade-resistant beyond 100 years. They are printed one at a time on Epson Archival Satin Canvas, with a 2” white margin. That’s enough to wrap all four sides around a 3/8" thick stretcher frame and staple it to the back. Most frame shops offer this service.
The Satin surface resembles that of a real oil painting with a light varnish coat. Ironically, my artist’s varnish will yellow before our Giclées fade.
